Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Is your family in town yet? Have you hit the road to head to your in-laws? Are you laying low this year? Regardless of your holiday plans, big or small, I've got the perfect breakfast treat for you. Tomorrow is all about food indulgence, right?? My mom used to make these for us each year on our birthday, and they were always our favorite. The beauty of this recipe is you don't have to measure out your ingredients and it's quick and easy leaving oven space for all those yummy casseroles. Enjoy!
Snowballs
Ingredients:
12 Canned crescent rolls
12 Marshmallows
Half a stick of butter
Cinnamon
Sugar
Milk
Powdered sugar
Vanilla extract
Directions:
Melt butter in bowl. Mix equal parts cinnamon and sugar in another bowl. Roll out crescent rolls. Dip marshmallow in melted butter and completely coat. Then dip in cinnamon sugar mixture and completely coat. Place coated marshmallow in middle of crescent roll and roll up the edges completely closing the crescent roll into a ball. Make sure all parts are sealed. Dip the bottom in butter and place in greased muffin tin. Repeat the process for all 12 snowballs. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix frosting using a small amount of milk and adding powdered sugar and vanilla to taste. You will want it to thicken a little. Let snowballs cool and then drizzle frosting on top and enjoy!
