Scenes from the weekend...

Well hello there! I cannot believe how long it has been since I last blogged. Every day for the last six weeks I've thought today's the day I'll start blogging again and then something comes up {feeding a babe, dealing with toddler tantrums or attempting to catch a nap when I can!} and I don't. Well we are changing that today! I did a photo dump from my phone and am working on a life lately post to catch you up on life since Amos, but in the meantime I'll catch you up on our weekend.

The littlest man and I headed to Dallas this weekend to visit family and friends, and I'm happy to report he is the best little traveler! I'll never forget the first time flying with George how nervous I was. This go around, flying with just one and no toddlers, felt like a vacation! And my new Solly Baby Wrap made it a breeze.

One of my dearest friends is getting married next month, and I was so sad to miss her bachelorette party last month. Amos was only seven weeks old and B was going to have to wrangle all three on his own. As sad as I was to miss a fabulous time with my best gals in Cape Cod, I knew I needed to stay back. So we planned a fun girls night to catch up on the bach party festivities, all things wedding and everything going on in all our lives. There is nothing better than time with the girls! Too many cocktails, plenty of Tex Mex and lots of laughs made for the best night. So thankful for our friendship of twenty plus years!

Oma and Poppa certainly enjoyed some one on one time with Amos. As much as we all love George and Jude it was such a treat to have a whole weekend to just ooh and aah over and snuggle with sweet Amos. We napped, we visited and we relaxed. I cannot tell you how nice it was to have a break from whining toddlers! I loved getting to introduce little man to family and am already looking forward to our next trip. As nice of a visit as it was, we were ready to get back home and see B and the boys. We really did miss them! Made it home just in time to do some laundry and pack again as we head to the beach this week. Stay tuned for a life lately update, beach pics and an exciting announcement. It's good to be back!
