This weekend was all about rest. We enjoyed the best trip home last weekend, but six days on the road can certainly catch up to you. We were more than thrilled to have a low key weekend at home with no real plans. When we weren't catching up on sleep we were soaking up the unbelievably gorgeous weather! We basically lived outside this weekend and it was oh so good for the soul. A quick trip to Lowe's for some yard work essentials and new flowers, and it was back home for some "hard work" as G calls it. He and B were out in the yard all afternoon while Jude and I snoozed. Is there anything better than a lazy afternoon nap?? Sunday afternoon we invited friends over for dinner al fresco. The kids enjoyed a popsicle party, and I sipped on my favorite mocktail {sparkling basil lemonade}. Those kind of nights are my absolute favorite and have me so excited for summer. And for our new babe to join in on the fun!
Rach remind me your due date? Just think soon you'll be on the patio with a glass of bubbly:)! Glad you go to relax, road trips while pregnant are MISERABLE!
