Viva Las Vegas

B's job certainly has its perks, and one of them is me getting to tag along on his trip to Vegas for the American Country Awards.
We had the best time.
Not only did we enjoy the show itself {how amazing was LeAnn Rimes' tribute to Patsy Cline??}, but we took in a little NFL action on the big screen at the Sports Book {the highlight of B's trip}, indulged in amazing meals {here, here, here and here} and most importantly had some time just the two of us to kick back and act like wild and crazy kids {although we were back in the room by 10pm two out of our three nights!}.
Sadly we were not so lucky when it came to the tables.
After my first night proved to only make $1.09 I decided to just stick with people watching instead of gambling.
Sadly, B did not follow my lead.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas...
Our money.
Oh well, it was money well spent as I loved every minute of watching my man roll the dice, mingle with dealers, hit, stay and double down.
However the highlight was definitely watching him attempt the bull.
I think it just might have been the highlight of the night for everyone at the Mandalay Bay that evening.
Here's looking forward to our next crazy adventure!

Holly Jolly PJ Party

Greetings from Vegas!
Taking a break from my gambling ways to join these gals for an oh so fun pj party.
Nothing cuter than kids in Christmas pajamas, right?
Here are my sweet boys rocking their festive jammies.

These two really do make it the most wonderful time of the year!

Scenes from the weekend...

Despite the "snowpacolypse" and "icemaggedon" that took over Dallas this weekend, my parents made it to Nashville!
A little flight finagling, and they beat the storm arriving Thursday night.
Things sure change when you have kids {obvious statement}.
No longer are we out and about showing them all Nashville has to offer.
We literally stayed in all weekend playing with the boys.
My mom cooked for us, my dad entertained the wild man and Jude got plenty of snuggles from both his Oma and Poppa.
Sadly my tigers could not pull off a victory but luckily B and I did in our spades game with my parents.
I see a rematch in our future come Christmas...
A perfect family weekend, but the highlight?
Oma staying with the boys and B and I heading to Vegas!
Got in last night and ready for some fun...

Family Photos

Can I tell you how happy pictures make me?
Especially pictures of all my boys.
I am beyond excited to share these precious photos the unbelievably talented Kristine Neeley shot of our family last month.
She is seriously amazing.
I knew we were in good hands, but I could not imagine how perfectly she would capture all the laughter and candid moments.
An early morning photo shoot on a cold, foggy day did not stop us from creating some special memories.
Oh how I love all 214 of the shots she captured, but I won't bore you with all of those.
Ha!
Here are just a handful of my favorites {not including the shots for our Christmas card/birth announcement which has yet to go out!}.
My favorite has to be the last shot.
Jude is more than ready for his nap, George is acting like the wild and crazy toddler he is and B is loving every minute.
Real life people.
And isn't it the best.

Scenes from the weekend...

Well has your food coma worn off yet??
Here's hoping you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
We sure did.
Time spent with B's family in Louisiana made for a fun holiday.
Plenty of food per usual but even better was the conversation and laughter among family.
It was so special to watch G play with his cousins and introduce Jude to his great grandmothers.
I am just so thankful to have married into such an incredible family who truly values relationship and the importance of being with the people you love {oh and the importance of laughter!}.
Looking forward to seeing them all again soon at Christmas!
