Are Saturdays just not the best? This one proved no less. We were up and at 'em early to brave the flea market. Bribing G with "treasures" {translation a $2 Thomas the Train that I don't even want to think about the germs it possesses} and listening to every vendor ooh and aah over sweet Baby Jude {he may have gotten his cheeks pinched!}, we made it a few hours and managed to snag a few finds for ourselves. I'm still overwhelmed with how much decorating/rearranging we have to do in this new house {I'm so indecisive!!!}. Spent the rest of the day out in the backyard. Literally. I'm so thankful for gorgeous Nashville weather. Picnic lunch, dirt piles, ladybugs and sticks. Who needs toys? Tucked our boys in bed, mixed up some margaritas and welcomed some friends over for Mexican. Stuffed ourselves silly and ended the night with a porch jam session. Why can't every day be Saturday?

Our Easter Weekend
And I'm back! We had the most incredible Easter weekend. Lots of family time, fun with friends and insanely gorgeous weather. Kicked things off Saturday with our church's Easter egg hunt. G was too busy riding his pony to hunt eggs. I see a request for a pony in our future. Sunday we went to church to "praise the Lord" as G now sweetly says and celebrate that He is risen! Came home to welcome friends over for brunch and an egg hunt. I was a little sad leading up to the weekend that we would not be with our family {we've been in Dallas the last two years!}, but quickly realized our friends here are our family. We had the best day. Mimosa bar for the adults and more candy and treats than the kids knew what to do with. This mama's heart was so full and happy just watching the kids run around the backyard and play while we got to catch up and laugh with friends. Looking forward to being back and catching up more!
